Dunsfold Aerodrome is the largest brownfield site in Waverley and is allocated for residential development of up to 2,600 homes in Waverley Borough’s Local Plan, which was adopted earlier this year. On 29 March 2018 the Secretary of State approved plans to build 1,800 homes on the aerodrome, following a Public Inquiry held in the summer which culminated in a positive recommendation from his inspector, Phillip Major.

Commenting, Dunsfold Park CEO Jim McAllister said:

The development of Dunsfold Aerodrome will provide homes for all sections of the community, create new jobs, deliver a range of new community facilities together with infrastructure improvements.
