Dunsfold Park Awarded Met Police Certificate of Merit

Friday, 21 October 2011

Jim McAllister, Chief Executive of Dunsfold Park Ltd, was delighted to attend the Traffic OCU Commendations Ceremony at their HQ in Empress State Building, Fulham on Friday 14 October, to accept, on behalf of Dunsfold Park, the Traffic OCU Commander's Certificate of Merit for providing support and assistance to the Road Death Investigation Unit's field days.

Presenting the award, Chief Superintendent Snelling was at pains to stress that because of budget constraints and, in particular, severe cuts in the current economic climate, without the support of organisations such as Dunsfold Park, who provide their premises and assistance for a very small nominal administrative fee rather than the market rate, the police simply couldn't afford to hold these essential training courses for their officers.

Jim McAllister, comments: "We are only too pleased to support the police force locally and nationally in the vital training they undertake here on the Aerodrome. It is gratifying to be recognised for the contribution we make in welcoming the police and ensuring the days run smoothly from both an organisational and practical point of view and we will display our certificate of merit with pride."
