Drive-In Ticket Sales Going Like Grease Lightning!

Monday, 15 March 2010

Dunsfold Park got into the drive-in spirit this week as staff dressed up in 50s waitress garb and cruised around the site in ‘The Rocket’, a 1950s Oldsmobile, to promote the Drive-In this Easter.

Tickets are selling fast as the bank holiday weekend approaches and sales figures just in report Pulp Fiction as the most popular film choice to date.

Featuring a Patrick Swayze double bill of Dirty Dancing and Road House on Friday 2nd April, some sing-along classics, Grease and Mamma Mia on Saturday 3rd and Disney’s Finding Nemo and Tarantino’s cult phenomenon Pulp Fiction on Sunday 4th. At Dunsfold Drive-In there’s a much loved movie for everyone!

Jamie McAllister, Dunsfold Park Events comments: "We're inviting everyone to join us at the aerodrome to park up on our runway and watch their favourite feature as part of a completely different type of cinema experience. Unlike classic cinemas, the volume control is at your finger tips through your own car radio and at only £20 per car it’s the perfect family treat this Easter."

The three-day movie fest is being held on 2nd, 3rd and 4th April 2010 at Dunsfold Park near Guildford in Surrey. Two movies will be shown each day one starting at 6.30pm and the other 9pm. Ticket prices start from £20 per car, for a maximum of 5 passengers, per film and are available online or via the Guildford Tourist Office.
