The opening of the new road means that:
- Stovolds Hill will close to all vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic on Sunday 28th January at 06:00. There will be no access to Dunsfold Park via Stovolds Hill.
- Compass Gate will remain open but only to road cars, not HGVs. All HGV traffic will be required to use the new road off the A281.
- The new access road will be accessible to all vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic from 06:00 on 28th January.
A ceremony to open the new access road and announce the name will take place this Thursday with some special guests both on the ground and in the air (weather dependent) from 11:00.
