The aptly named “8 for 8 Challenge” will see Paul take on eight charity challenges this year - including aiming to break four Guinness World Records titles at Dunsfold Park. The money raised will go to the West Surrey branch of the MND Association.

Paul is linking up with world champion dog sled sprint racer Vickie Pullen to try and break four Guinness World Records titles at Dunsfold Park on September 7. The records include: fastest mile pushing a wheelchair - male and female, fastest time for two people to cover 400m in a wheelchair pulled by dogs and furthest distance covered for two people pulled by dogs in a minute.

Vickie said: “When Paul told me about his charity campaign, I immediately wanted to be involved. What he’s doing is nothing short of extraordinary, not just in terms of physical endurance, but in the courage it takes to keep pushing boundaries in the face of such a diagnosis. I’m proud to be pulling alongside him, quite literally, in this challenge. It’s about showing the world that strength comes in many forms, and that determination, teamwork, and a cause worth fighting for can achieve the unimaginable.”

Paul said: “Failure is not an option in my book, so it means a great deal that all of the 8 for 8 challenges and fundraisers are a success. I’m determined to raise as much money and awareness for MND and the MND Association as possible; I think about the world record attempt everyday - I will break all four Guinness World Records titles on September 7, there is no question I won’t!
