On November 19th 1943 Reg Day celebrated a very special birthday at Dunsfold Aerodrome, his 21st! Now, 69 years on, Reg is back on the aerodrome celebrating an equally important birthday, his 90th, with ex-wartime compatriots, museum volunteers and staff at Dunsfold Park.

Dunsfold Park was sworn to secrecy last week as an AgustaWestland AW101 helicopter flew in for a confidential and rather special paint job. Sprayed red, white and blue the AW101 was painted ahead of its starring role in the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.
