Founded in 2011 by Mike Brett and Andy Finn, Cadmap and Cadmap Studio Ltd is an international business offering a range of Topographical and Measured Building surveys, CAD drafting services ranging from cad support, laser disto surveying, 2D cad drafting and REVIT models. The company currently has a team of 14 staff but is looking to expand and recruit new land surveyors and drafters.
As well as recruiting, Mike and Andy will also be offering a brand new service with the addition of a 3D laser scanner to their services (3D Visulisation). To show just how accurate this new piece of machinery is, Dunsfold Park’s very own 747 is in the process of being scanned which will not only show off the technology to Cadmap’s clients, but add a new dimension to the 747 tours at Wings & Wheels.
The business has a range of clients, principally made up of Architects, Property Developers working on a variety of projects including the All England Tennis Club, Wimbledon, Abbey Road Studios, London, Meribel, Ski Chalets, France as well as blue chip companies such as Honeywell, Parsons and various borough councils in London and across the UK. Whilst 80% of clients are based in London, Cadmap have worked all over the UK.
Mike Brett, Associate Director, Cadmap comments: “It’s a really exciting year for us with our move to new offices, recruitment plans and new services. We are really pleased with the offices at Dunsfold Park, the space not only suits our needs now, but will allow us to continue to grow in the future.”
Jim McAllister, Chief Executive, Dunsfold Park comments: “Cadmap is an exciting new addition to the business park. The services that they offer compliment the vast array of businesses we already have here at Dunsfold Park, Waverley’s largest employment site in the Borough. The Wings & Wheels team are looking forward to incorporating the 3D Visualisation of the 747 into the tours which are sure to add a unique element to the experience.”
