Dunsfold Aerodrome has been the subject of much debate over the past decade and with the future of the site still undecided some 10 years after they acquired it, Dunsfold Park Ltd decided to commission Lord Taylor of Goss Moor to carry out an independent review of all the possible options for the site's future.

AFC Energy (AIM: AFC), the industrial fuel cell power company, announced on Friday 14th September the opening of its fuel cell pilot production plant at Dunsfold Park, Surrey.  This follows an investment by AFC Energy of £180,000 earlier this year.

On Wednesday 8th August the CEO of TMO Renewables, David Weaver, welcomed The Prime Minister of Latvia, Valdis Dombrovskis, to TMO's ethanol process plant at Dunsfold Park in Surrey to learn more about the integrated process TMO offers for converting MSW (Municipal Solid Waste, or household rubbish) into ethanol.

Dunsfold Park was sworn to secrecy last week as an AgustaWestland AW101 helicopter flew in for a confidential and rather special paint job. Sprayed red, white and blue the AW101 was painted ahead of its starring role in the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.

Dunsfold Park in Surrey, known as home to the BBC's 'Top Gear' track, made history today (Thursday 28th June 2012) when it officially became the first business park in the UK to be fed entirely by 'green energy.'

Dunsfold Aerodrome was celebrating a victory against Waverley Borough Council this week when they won both Appeals against restrictions imposed to an application to extend operational flying hours for the Olympics.

On Monday 14th May 2012 Dunsfold Park Ltd served a claim under S288 in the High Court against the decision of the Planning Inspectorate to dismiss the appeal against Waverley Borough Council's refusal to grant a Certificate of Lawfulness of Existing Use and Development for aviation activities at the aerodrome.

On Friday 1st April 2011, Dunsfold Park Ltd submitted an application to Waverley Borough Council for a "Certificate of Lawfulness of Existing Use" (CLEUD) in connection with the use of the Aerodrome. The application was made under s191 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 for unrestricted aviation use of the application land as an aerodrome.
