TMO Renewables Ltd, a leading developer of a new process for converting biomass into fuel ethanol, is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the first year of operation of its process demonstration unit (PDU), the first cellulosic ethanol demonstration plant in the UK. 
The 2009 Wings & Wheels success story continues with the announcement today that some £80,000 will be distributed to nominated charities Help for Heroes, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance, Cranleigh Village Hospital Trust and Brooklands Museum Trust.
Friends of the Earth has condemned the decision to refuse planning permission for an eco-development at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey.
Commenting on the Secretary of State’s decision to refuse permission for an eco village at Dunsfold Aerodrome,  Jim McAllister, Chief Executive of Dunsfold Park Ltd said,

“The decision by the Secretary of State to refuse the Master Plan proposals for a new Eco village at Dunsfold Aerodrome is both disappointing and confusing and places question marks over the Government’s commitment to Climate Change.
