Snow Measure on Dunsfold Park

Wednesday, 01 December 2010
We have had a number of enquires about what measures Dunsfold Park Limited will be putting in place to keep the roads on the Estate clear should the bad weather persist. Snow ploughs are on order but, unfortunately, these have yet to be delivered.  In the meantime, junctions on the Estate are being gritted.
On Wednesday 17th November 2010, eight teenagers from the Surrey Care Trust STEPS Programme visited Dunsfold Park for a tour of the aerodrome and a chat with staff on the wide variety of activities and career opportunities available at the Park.

Harrier Display Team Take Two!

Thursday, 18 November 2010

Bad weather on Tuesday (16th November) meant the Harrier Display Team were unable to land and demonstrate the incredible flying power of the jets. Undeterred the team tried again today (Thursday 18th November) and thrilled crowds with a memorable and moving display.

Dunsfold Park was delighted to welcome the Harrier back to the Aerodrome on Tuesday 16th November in celebration of the aircraft’s first vertical flight which took place here 50 years ago on 19th November 1960.
As wreaths were laid at the Dunsfold Aerodrome Memorial plaque, staff paid their respects and observed the two minute silence in commemoration of Armistice Day.
